Today I made:
an effort...
It's been a long few days. This is what I could muster tonight...
...maybe the beginnings of a journal page background, ...maybe a practicing of this whole showing up thing.
This would normally stay closed up in my art journal, but I'm giving it some air to breath because sharing it here keeps me accountable for living my art every day.
There is nothing wrong with just showing up. Like I told you when you first started, don't try too hard. Art can be anything even if it's just the way the material of a top against your favorite pair of worn in jeans feels.
ReplyDeleteI wish I had you're drive to at least show up. I have orders and deadlines and I haven't been able to follow through with any of it! Hopefully that will all change tomorrow.

I know it. It's an ebb and flow. I'm hard on myself. Catching up on my sleep and figuring out my new schedule will help.
